About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Engineer to join our team and deliver high-quality infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in the design, planning, and delivery of civil works, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop civil engineering solutions for infrastructure and energy projects.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for approvals and permits.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Complete surveys, set out and provide feedback to assist in the development of designs.
  • Management of survey equipment being used on sites.
  • Carry out site quality inspections and reports.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with a minimum 2:2 Classification.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple taks
  • Experience in surveying and setting out techniques using engineering equipment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD software) and MS Office tools.

Desirable

  • Proven experience in civil engineering design and construction, ideally within energy or infrastructure sectors
  • Experience in surveying and setting out techniques using engineering equipment.
  • CSCS card/SMSTS
  • First aid at work
  • Experience with renewable energy projects or grid infrastructure.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., ICE membership or working towards chartership).
